Angry Birds Trading Cards

Problem:

Angry Birds Trading Cards sought to transition from having no online presence as a single trading card game. BuzzMeter had the ability to give Angry Birds Trading Cards an online presence through a variety of social media applications and a website presence from start to finish.

Method:

BuzzMeter took a multifaceted approach involving visual branding efforts, a Facebook application and advertising incentives, tastemaker outreach, online PR, and actually gaining a fan base. We created Angry Birds social media content for a variety of their online social applications and reached out to various online outlets that were receptive to the Angry Birds Trading Cards Game.

Result:

• Angry Birds gained over 21,000 likes in a short-month period through Facebook incentives
• BuzzMeter generated positive discussion board reviews, and discussion board forums.
• Gained tastemaker adoption from influential gamers and young individuals
